Gayle captures a graceful flow of movement, proportion, balance and realism. She currently offers an extraordinary collection of over 400 animal bracelets, rings, pendants, and earrings in precious metals. Gayle has been designing and sculpting exquisite miniatures for most of her life and has devoted over 30 years to studying wildlife in America, Africa and Australia. She extensively researches each idea exploring game reserves, zoos, oceans and aquariums. She can be found in libraries and bookstores or observing humpback whales and dolphins from her kayak in the waters near her island home. Gayle is an artist who creates in many mediums. Her works include exquisite fine jewelry in 14k and 18k gold and precious gems; monumental sculpture in bronze; distinctive statuary in gold, sterling silver and bronze; pen & ink wells and letter openers in sterling silver and gold; elegant bronze vessels; and unique cabinet hardware in sterling silver, bronze and fine pewter. Through the sales of her work Gayle supports the efforts of many organizations working to protect animals...wild and domestic...including the Humane Society of the U.S., the Maui Humane Society, the East Maui Animal Refuge, the World Wildlife Fund, the ASPCA and others.

All Gayle Bright fine jewelry designs and sculptures in gold or sterling and many of her creations in bronze are handcrafted on the island of Maui. Many of her creations are available in numbered limited editions.

Fine Pewter 
Fine pewter is at least 88% tin, alloyed with antimony, copper and zinc. Fine pewter will tarnish with time. It can be polished occasionally with a commercial polish available in most markets and hardware stores. Pewter is a relatively soft metal, and can be filed with a nail file.

Brass-Plated Pewter
These pewter knobs have been brass-plated and then lacquered to be tarnish resistant. Do not clean with harsh chemicals or abrasives. They can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Bronze
Our bronze handles and knobs are cast in the traditional lost wax method. They have been waxed to help protect the finish. They will gradually darken to a deep bronze hue. Do not clean with harsh chemicals or abrasives. They can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, or lightly waxed and buffed with a very soft cloth. Call for advice if you have any questions.

Sterling Silver
Our sterling silver handles and knobs are cast by the traditional lost wax method with the addition of a new alloy which greatly slows the tarnishing process. They will gradually tarnish and require an occasional polishing with a commercial silver polish
