The World Of Bath Faucets
Though often overlooked, bath faucets are a very important element in bathroom design. Choosing sink, shower and bath tub faucets is more complicated than it might sound, though, and there are a lot of considerations that must be taken. The handle and the spout will be the most important elements in determining the style of bath faucets, which can either be single or double-handled. Some people prefer single handled bath sinks because they allow better control of the water temperature and volume. For bath tub and shower faucets, on the other hand, most people prefer the double-handled models because they are more stylish and allow for precise temperature adjustment. There are different types of spout styles to choose from, as well, including shower faucets with pull down or pull-out sprays, and others with side sprays, or no sprays at all. After choosing the right bath faucets, then it's time to install them at an appropriate height. For bath tub faucets, they should be below knee height. Shower faucets should be about a foot or so above the average person's head, and they should be about upper waste height for bath sinks. There are additional accessories that must be purchased for bath faucets, as well, such as water filters, hot water dispensers, or soap dispensers. Some of these accessories might require additional holes in the sink. With all the types of sink, bath tub and shower faucets that are available, it can get very confusing and overwhelming to choose one. Basing the decision equally on looks, budget and future needs should, however, produce a winner.
