Motiv was created by the prestigious Ginger Design Group to fill a middle-market niche in contrast to the high-end Ginger brand of fine bathroom accessories and lighting. First introduced at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in April 2002, Motiv collections are based on the concept of “Legitimate Design.” These products are frank, intelligently designed and responsive to today’s lifestyles. There are five Motiv flagship collections: Sine, architectural and incorporating the sine symbol as a design accent; Quattro, a squared design fusing east and west; London Terrace, reincarnating authentic, English Victorian design; and City 212, early 20th century urban chic and their newest addition Frame -urban chic is freshly defined . The collections are forged in solid brass and include bathroom accessories, mirrors and sconce lighting.
